No Federal appointment can take place without Governor's approval- Rev. Pam

The newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Rev, Dr. Yakubu Pam, has appreciated the Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong for his efforts in making sure President Muhammadu Buhari appointed him as the Executive Secretary of NCPC.

Rev. Pam made the statement today Saturday 11, July, 2020 while delivering his speech at a civic reception organized in his honour by his well wishers, which took place at Landfield in Jos the Plateau State capital.  

The clergy man appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for believing in him and finding him worthy to be appointed into the exalted office despite been told that many names were coming from different quarters, the President insisted that it must be Rev. Yakubu Pam from Jos.

The spiritual leaders appreciated Governor Simon Lalong who did not only approved for his appointment but said (Gov. Lalong) was the one who recommended him for the appointment and former Head of State Gen. Yakubu Gowon for adding his voice to the discussion.

Rev. Pam further reveals that he  will use this position to unite all religious and ethnic groups in the country to enthroned peace and harmony.’

He called on the Berom nation to stand in unity and forget political and other differences for the prosperity of the nation. 

He also pledged to unite all religion and equally appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for his appointment into Pilgrims Commission.

There was goodwill messages from Sen. Hezekiah Dimka, Senator representing Plateau Central, Plateau State CAN Chairman, Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo, representative of the JNI, BECO President Da. Gyang Dudu, Jos South Management Committee Chairman, Hon. Choji Dachung Yohana, Executive Secretary Plateau State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Rev. Fr. George Gorap,  traditional rulers etc.
