In a kinely Contested Plateau State Chapter of the Correspondent Chapel elections held earlier Douglas Francis of Coretv news emerged Vice Chairman of the Chapel with 28 Votes to defeat his Opponent Agada Okopi of TVC news with 26 votes to emerge the Winner 

The election also saw to the emergence of Martha Nyam of News Agency of Nigeria to defect Balkisu of Radio Nigeria with 30 to 24 votes while Pam Musa of New Telegraph emerged Financial Secretary others in Jude Dagwan of Daily Assent Auditor and John Forinlola for Channels Television 

Elections for the Post of Chairman was in conclusive as both Candidate tied together a new date will be fixed for a rerun
