Hon. Dogara emerges Plateau State IPAC Chairman for the second term
The Chairmen of fifteen Political Parties in Plateau State yesterday unanimously elected Alhaji Abubakar Dogara of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as the state Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) for the second term after the expiration of his tenure.

Other members unanimously elected into various positions are; Comrade Sabastin Pyoklam of PRP as the Secretary, Pastor Mikel James of Accord Party emerged the Organizing Secretary, Ibrahim Mani of AGPA emerged the Financial Secretary, Grace Zamfara of LP retained her position as the Treasurer while Kingsley Kanu of A.A and Akpi Emerson of NRM emerged Publicity Secretary and Youth Political Advisor respectively. 

Hon. Usman Haruna of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) who presided over the election charged the new leadership of IPAC in the state to work for the unity and betterment of IPAC members in the state. 
    
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Dogara appreciated chairmen of the political parties in the state for the confidence reposed on him and pledged to operate an open door policy and work for the stability of IPAC in the state.

He further pledged to prioritise the welfare of IPAC members and emphased the need for unity among the members in the state saying the local governments’ chapters in the state will be inaugurate to make the local chapters vibrate.  

According to him, IPAC would liaise with the state government to build secretariat in the state to ease the problem of office accommodation and appealed to state government to provide a platform where IPAC can regularly advise the state executive council based on the yearning and aspirations of the common Plateau people.
