Insecurity: Hon. Gwallson inaugurates neighborhood watch in Riyom LGC

Hon. Mafeng Gwallson, the Management Committee Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council of Plateau State, in his quest toward restoring a lasting peace in his locality,  inaugurated the neighborhood watch to complement the efforts of the conventional security apparatus maintaining law and order within Riyom Local Government Area. 

Hon. Gwallson in a very short and brief statement disclosed that, "yesterday, we inaugurated the committee and members of the neighbourhood watch of Riyom local government. 

I’ve assured the new 322 recruits of our intention to strengthen the internal security of the local government and use the training they’ve received to ensure continuous peace and prosperity in the locality. 

He also said that "our effort is to ensure that people go about their normal businesses; go to their farms– harvest, rear animals and uterlise their proceeds for their personal prosperity"
