Gontori salute Nigerians on democracy celebration, 2020

June 12th has been a remarkable day in the history of Nigerian democracy. The president of the federal republic of Nigeria,president Muhammadu Buhari declared this day to be celebrated as democracy day was a welcome development and received accolades from all and sundry.

On this special day,on behalf of my family,business partners,political associates,teaming supporters and the GONTORI MOVEMENT 2023,I felicitate with Nigerians and particularly plateau citizens on this year democracy day celebration. As a nation,we have come a long way and it's with high hope that our nascent democracy will metamophose into a full fledge democracy like other developed countries of the world.

We remember MKO Abiola and other falling heros who fought to ensure that Nigeria is return to democratic rule after decades of military rule. I call on our government at all levels to ensure that the citizenry enjoy the dividends of democracy.we must know that it's all about the people.

As we journey towards 2023,our quest is to ensure that power is return to the people(electorates).
