Afizere group addresses Danboyi over Speaker's corrupt allegations

Group under the auspices of Jos East Influencers, in defense of their son and the Plateau State Speaker Rt. Hon. Nuhu Ayuba Abok over the said corrupt allegations levelled against him by one Mr Luka Danboyi which went viral on social media some weeks ago.

The group tongue lash Mr Luka Danboyi whom his real identity is yet to be identify said Our attention has been drawn to a publication that went viral on the social media platforms with the above-mentioned caption purported to be authored by one Luka Danboyi. We're glad, Hon. Agwom Ajiji Agwom, Chief of Staff (COS) to the Speaker and many other well-meaning Plateau citizens have done justice to the said unfounded publication to everyone's satisfaction. More so, Mr Luka Danboyi has come up to distanced himself from the purported publication on the Rt. Hon. Speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba.

As a body, we need not to over-hammer on these frivolous and malicious  publication thereby giving the author undue popularity, but we wish to state as follows:

RE: THE WORST PLATEAU STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SPEAKER IN THE HISTORY OF PLATEAU STATE.

Our attention has been drawn to a publication that went viral on the social media platforms with the above-mentioned caption purported to be authored by one Luka Danboyi. We're glad, Hon. Agwom Ajiji Agwom, Chief of Staff (COS) to the Speaker and many other well-meaning Plateau citizens have done justice to the said unfounded publication to everyone's satisfaction. More so, Mr Luka Danboyi has come up to distanced himself from the purported publication on the Rt. Hon. Speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba.

As a body, we need not to over-hammer on these frivolous and malicious  publication thereby giving the author undue popularity, but we wish to state as follows:

1. That Afizere and other sections of Plateau community watched helplessly when a single tribe held sway every juicy position in the state including radio reporters until when that inglorious tenure ended;

2. That Afizere people have been subjected to unjustified attacks since the emergence of the Lalong Rescue Administration in 2015 including the current Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba;

3. That The Influencers and many other independent groups in Izereland will henceforth, not continue to fold our arms while our leaders are being insulted, ridiculed, and their hard-earned reputation dragged in the mud on slightest opportunity by those who regard themselves as our enemies.

4. That Mr Luka Danboyi, whether real or imaginary, should henceforth, desists from taking Mr Speaker and other Izere political leaders as soft targets for attacks, as further occurrence will be met with our stiff resistance using all civilized means possible.

5. That we made bold to challenge both Danboyi's (fake and original) to approach any Anti-graft Agency nearest to them with proofs of claims and stop further disturbing the hard-earned peace on the Plateau by the Rescue Administration of Rt. Hon. (Dr.) S.B. Lalong, Esq. 

6. That Afizere are known for humility, accommodative spirit and peaceful coexistence. Henceforth, we will refuse to remain docile and watch our leaders being unjustifiably humiliated by faceless groups. 

6. That let Mr Danboyi's (real or imaginary) be seriously warned that further attempt at Mr. Speaker's reputation or any of our political leaders will attract severe legal encounter including demand for damages where possible particularly when adequate proofs are not provided.

7. That The Influencers and all well-meaning Izere sons and daughters are very appreciative of both executive and legislative arms of APC-led government in Plateau state for finding Izere sons and daughters worthy to serve in various capacities in the state and beyond. We will not hesitate to come out enmass to give every needed supports for the success of the Lalong Rescue Administration in Plateau state.

8. That Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba is a devoid Christian by faith, believing that power comes from God and only God alone gives power to who He wishes as at His due time. Therefore, the Young Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba is not, and will never be intimidated by such empty threats from a faceless group.

9. In conclusion, Dr. Kethoser Kevichusa  once said and I quote, "Tribalists will take a narrow and tribal stance whenever a national problem comes up. If one of their own is in a position of power, then they will gladly rally around the leader with the firm belief that the nation is in the right hands and headed in the right direction. If on the other side, a leader from another tribe is at the helm, then they will put up a resistance and argue that the nation is in danger to justify their campaigns. A tribalist outlook drives rational thinking out of the window, and the outcome is a battle that leads to senseless wars and genocide..."
