The Commissioner Plateau State Ministry of Works, Hon. Pam Bot-Mang has debunked in strong term the recent posters of him and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC as running mate.

SA to the Honourable Commisioner for Works stated as follows:

PRESS STATEMENT DEBUNKING SOCIAL MEDIA POSTERS FRONTING HON PAM BOT-MANG AS APC DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

The attention of the Honourable Commisioner for Works, Pam Bot-Mang, has been drawn to some phony posters that have adorned various social media handles fronting him as the running mate to Dr Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, our APC candidate for Plateau State Governorship election come Feb 2023.

I am under his directive to state categorically and unequivocally that the Honourable Commissioner distances himself from such posts, innuendos and machinations.

That he has not commissioned any person or group of persons by whatever name or guise to do such bidding on his behalf.

That these decisions are purely party matters and are usually dealt with at the highest levels of the Party structure in the state.

That he remains a loyal party man and an appointee of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Simon Bako Lalong, KSGG, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, and he is happy with his portfolio as the Honourable Commissioner for Works, a gesture and privilege that has been so bestowed on him by the Governor.

In the light of the forgone, Honourable Pam Bot-Mang hereby beckons on these mischief makers to desist forthwith with their machinations and stop such, so as not to cause unnecessary distraction to governance and the delivery of critical infrastructure, which is the core mandate of His Excellency to the Ministry of Works where he oversees.

He remains loyal and is focused on delivering the mandate that that has been assigned to him.

He therefore calls on all progressive Plateau elements and his well wishers to not only discountenance such publications but disregard same.

He also uses this opportunity to congratulate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, our APC gubernatorial candidate and all other candidates for various positions of the APC on their success at the recently concluded APC primaries thus far and wishes them a resounding victory at general polls in February 2023.
