The Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Plateau State, Hon. Bitrus Bature has called on deligates who will participate in the forthcoming 2022 party primaries to go for candidates with integrity, and people who have the heart to serve the people of Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.

Hon. Bature who made the call in an exclusive interview with some media Executives, in his Kalwa House APC State secretariat, stated this while answering questions.

He said, deligates should be very mindful of the word highlights bidder to be decider of the election, they should always go for people with integrity, people who mean well for Plateau and Nigeria should be the only people they should vote for to serve cut across partyline.

Also speaking the level of purches of forms of his party, how many people have purchased the APC nomination form for Governorship, Senate and House of representatives in Plateau State.

He said, the designated area for the purchase of forms are in two places and for that, he can not speak for the national because that is where the Governorship, the Senate and the House of representatives is been purchased.

So as for the state House of Assembly which is designated in the state offices is the one he can comment on and as it is at the time of the interview, he said about sixty something people who purchased the form to contest for the set election in Plateau State.

Also commending on the issues necessited the shift in electing deligates of the APC who in turn will perform the election of party candidate, he said, it is because of the issue of logistics, that will get the excuses right and that occasion the shift.

On the level of the party preparedness to conduct the primaries.

The Chairman stated APC under his rightful watch, on the Plateau is well prepared to give Plateau people the best and credible candidates they are yearning for to take the State to the promise land.

Hon. Bature also call on those contesting election, to be magnanimous in both defeat and victory, at the cost of the election, whether it is the primaries or the general election.

Also clearing the air on the issues of clause 18 on the APC nomination and intend form.

The party Chairman in his disclosure, stated that is where the electoral act which was recently signed by President Muhammadu Bihari will come to play its part, because that act has taking care of that exclusively.

He said, the act stated that where there are ten (10) aspirants, and nine of them agreed to leave it to one person and just one of them disagree the act says there most be an election. Anything outside that, INEC will not take it.
