All is set to host Kwat Pas 2022-Dr Cashmir

The Chairman central Planning Committee of the famous Kwat Pas 2022, Dr. Kumtap Yilji Cashmir  has disclosed that all arrangements to host a hitch free Kwat Pas 2022 has adequately put in place. 

Dr. Cashmir made the statement, while briefing Journalist in Jos  towards hosting Kwat Pas 2022 which is slated to take place tomorrow Saturday 14, May, 2022 at Abor Dis Pankshin Local Government Council of Plateau State. 

First person to benefited from the free medical outreach to mark tomorrow's Kwat Pas 2022. 

Dr. Cashmir start that it is very important to inform the general public on the level of preparation towards hosting the Kwat Pas, which the traditional council made it an annual festival. 

He said, Kwat Pas is a hunting festival that is celebrated by the people of Abor Did , and this year Kwat Pas annual festival has a lot activities including medical outreach which is taking place simultaneously with the press briefing. 

The Chairman Central Planning Committee, stated that has he speak the tens and hundreds of people from the community  are enjoying from the good gesture. 

Dr. Cashmir also reveal that there will be commissioning of boreholes tomorrow before the event take place proper which was donated to the community by the famous NASCO group of company.

He said the people of Abor Did has a long term relationship between the community and the NASCO group of companies.

Furthermore, the Chairman, also revealed that there is going to be public lecture on digitalisation technology and preservation of African culture as people are all aware that the African culture that was inherited through the forefathers has suffered gross encroachment by digitalisation and technology.

He said, as a community, they want to preserve their cultural values and norms, they want to preserve their ancestral heritage, how they can blind the two together to ensure that their culture is not completely erase.

The Chairman also disclosed that tomorrow there is going to be cultural display, which everyone one present will witness, and there is going to be 30m appeal fund raising. Themat is going to help in maintaining the existing boreholes within the community, and it is going to help them in upgrading the existing health facilities within the community. 

Dr. Cashmir also in his disclosure stated that Kwat Pas is more than just a cultural events, is more than the activities but it embodies a lot of things .
