National chairman of Petroleum Tankers' Drivers,branch of NUPENG, Comrade Dr Salimon Akani Oladiti;: Proprietress of Brussels International College, Lekki, Lagos, Mrs BCJ Nawanoeze;Deputy Accountant General of Kaduna State,Alhaji Aminu Sani Sambo;and Executive Director, Energy Commission of Nigeria,Engr Abaka Umar.

Also on the list of honorary doctorate degree awardees include the CEO of Zarita Kouture & Academy and founder of StellaRita Awelle Humanitarian Foundation, Dr.hc StellaRita Awelle Nwachukwu Asogwa; Alhaji Yakubu A.Maishanu, chairman/CEO of AYM Shafa Limited, Bauchi;and Mr Darlington Agbiogwu,Managing Director/CEO of JUNENG Big Ltd.  

 Lagos state commissioner for Tourism,Arts and Culture, Uzaat Akinbile Yusuff; the executive chairman of Oshodi- Isolo LGA of Lagos state, Hon. Otunba   Kehinfe Almaroof  and Hon Saheed Bankole of Eti- Osa LGA of Lagos state are among the nominees for the Prowess University honorary doctorate award. 

According to Professor Eze C. Nwuaba,Representative of the University in Africa in a press statement said:" These nominees have lived above board in their professional career; they have distinguished  by touching the lives of Nigerians especially the most vulnerable in our society. The selection was highly competitive without  bias and prejudice; it is strictly based on merit and recommendations by the immediate  members of the society.We nominated people across board", Prof  Eze opined.

Other nominees from Lagos state include Director General/CEO,office of the Transformation Creativity and Innovation(OTCI),Toba Otusanya and Permanent secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Finance,Mrs Oyeyyemi Ayoola who will bag the prestigious Leadtimes Africa Prize for Integrity, Accountability and Transparency in Leadership; and Chairman, House committee on Finance,Lagos state House of Assembly.

Also included in the award list is Hon.Dr Dayyabu Yusuf Garga,executive chairman of Kanam LGA  will all be honoured in Abuja as  Alhaji Dr Abdullahi Shehu Jarma of Bauchi state will be inducted as fellow of International Institute of Strategies Development(FIISD) among others.

The theme of this years summit is titled: Reducing the Cost of Governance in our Leadership System- A New Approach to sustainable growth and Development in Nigeria. Professor Basil C. Nwankwo of Kogi state University, Anyiangba, will serve as guest lecturer at the occasion while HRM Musa Abari Agye,Osakpa of Akpanaja Kingdom of Doma LGA in Nasarawa state will serve as honorary doctorate degree awardee and also a Royal father of the day.
