Breaking news: Plateau PDP reconciliation efforts collapse, all court cases to continue-Group

The multitude legal tussle facing the opposition People's Democratic Party PDP on the Plateau has once again raised it's head it ugly head.

The People's Democratic Party which engulfed itself in a serious legal tussle since 2020 that deny the party from participating in the 2021 Plateau State Local Government Council election which was conducted by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, (PLASIEC) October, 2021 has open a new legal chapter.  

Statement made available to This medium stated as follows: 

Attention

30th,March 2022.

I have been directed to inform members of our group on the following decisions.

1.

That our leaders have never been contacted or have agreed to transmute our three hundred and seventheen (317) councilorship candidates to the last state elections as automatic wards adhoc delegates to the upcoming party primaries of our party across the state,the proposed plant is viewed in bad light,the planners have a clear case of mischief and to degenerate the very fragile peace to a full blown crises within the party,also in an attempt to rough handle and threatened aspirants with bulk arrange delegates for the purpose of producing anointed candidates at various levels to the detriment of others and the party unity.

2.

No agreement was made or established at any level to transmute our seventheen (17) LGA Chairmanship candidates as automatic National delegates.

3.

No agreement was made anywhere to transmute widows across the 207 federal ward as adhoc delegates.

Our stakeholders are advice to disregard such moves and purchased adhoc delegates forms from the National headquarters as follows;

-National Delegate-#50,000.

-three(3)ward adhoc delegates-#5000.

With proof of purchase/receipt.

Reconciliations efforts earlier established by several National leaders of our great party including:

-Gov Nweson Wike.

-PDP National leadership led by Sen AYU.

-Gov Samuel Ortom.

Have automatically collapsed with no headway,as a result our court cases ongoing at various courts of competent jurisdiction should be pursuit accordingly.

Our attention is drawn to a purported meeting for State SEC and others by Mr Emmanuel Tuwang,we can't join issues with him but to put the records straight.

The status of a legitimate leadership is under serious judicial thread,nobody is above the courts of the land. even door the faith is still hanging on the appeal at the federal appeal court Jos.

The future of this party shouldnt be toy with, in direct confrontation with the judiciary as demonstrated.

The very important exercise remaining ahead leading to the 2023 general elections in Plateau State remain key to our success.

Any attempt or official engagements with the court nullify leadership may have negative effects/Consequences if it turns negative in the nearest future and wish our members to be highly guided as such.

-twelve(12) LGA also remain unattended to.
