Minister of Finance commends PLASCHEMA innovation and giant strides in Plateau

The Minister of Finance Mrs (Dr.) Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed has commended the Director General and Management of 

the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA) for the innovation and giant strides in making sure no one is left behind in attaining Universal health coverage in Plateau State.

Dr. Ahmed stated this on Thursday during the Primary Healthcare Summit 2022 in Abuja, where she made presentation with reference on the achievement of (PLASCHEMA)

The Summit with the Theme: Re-Imagining Primary Health Care in Nigeria focuses on attaining Universal Health Coverage and the roles gateways play towards achieving that had in attendance the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo SAN GCON, The Honorable Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ohanire, Dr Faisal Shuaib the ED NPHCDA, Prof Sambo Nasir, H.E Dr Kayode Fayemi, Executive Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman, Nigeria's Governor's Forum, amongst other very important dignitaries.

The Minister however advised States of the Federation to undertake a study tour and learn from Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA) 

The Director General of PLASCHEMA Dr. Jemchang Fabong who attended the summit appreciated the amiable  Governor of Plateau State, the Rt Hon Dr Simon Bako Lalong for all the support and the Hon Minister of Finance Mrs (Dr) Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed for recognizing the bit that agency has done in the state.
