Northern People's Project, canvass support for Tinubu

A pro-Tinubu group has Tuesday in Jos, said their prepared Presidential aspirant, Senator Ahmad Bola Tinubu, standout to be the best for Nigeria's leadership.

The group under the aiges of  Northern People's Project (NPP), lead by its Chairman Hon. S.P. Jibrin, said Senator Tinubu's leadership and political antecedents are good reasons, to canvassed for his Presidency.

"As a Senator, Tinubu has made great impact in law making towards Nigeria's development. He has as two terms Governor of Lagos made great policies that is shaping the State.

"Even when Obasanjo's Government held the Local Government Councils, funds Tinubu was able to make them performed better than many LGCs in states where these funds are been released.

"Senator Bola Tinubu knows the problems of Nigeria and Nigerians, a sensible and hardworking personality that deserves to be the country's next is non better than him," the group said.

According to the group, Senator Tinubu being a quantessential politicians, is now the only person with structures across the country, an advantage they will leaverage on to easily sale him.

"As People of the North Central Nigeria, we will do our possible best to ensure that he emerged as APC's flag bearer. And eventually becomes the President," they said.

The group further called on Senator Tinubu, to consider the People of the North Central Nigeria, in his choice of person that would made his vice president and other key positions.

They said their planned tour toi further consult with traditional rulers, youths groups and other major stakeholders on Tinubu's project will soon commence, having done that with APC stakeholders in the zone.
