Gen. Gowon set to perform groundbreaking ceremony of British American flyover bridge construction

The former Nigeria Military Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, is set to perform the groundbreaking ceremony of British American flyover bridge construction on Friday 11th March 2022, by 10am.

A statement signed by Hon. Pam Botmang, Commissioner for Works,

Plateau State and was made available to this medium stated that His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State Rt. Hon. (Dr) Simon Bako Lalong, KSGG will flag off the construction of the British-American Flyover and dualisation of the road to Lamingo Junction Roundabout on Friday, 11th March 2022 and it's read as follows:

FLAGGING -OFF CONSTRUCTION OF THE BRITISH-AMERICAN FLYOVER INTERCHANGE AND DUALISATION TO LAMINGO JUNCTION ROUNDABOUT

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State Rt. Hon. (Dr) Simon Bako Lalong, KSGG will flag off the construction of the British-American Flyover and dualisation of the road to Lamingo Junction Roundabout on Friday, 11th March 2022.

The Groundbreaking ceremony will be performed by former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, GCON and witnessed by Governors of Niger, Edo and Kwara states.

The event will take place at the British-American flyover junction site in Jos.

Time is 10am.

All invited guests and attendees are to note that COVID-19 protocols will be strictly observed.
