Hon. Bature urge PLHA to look into impersonation and forgery case of former Plateau Speaker
The Chairman Plateau State Chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, Hon Rufus Bature, has call on the members of the house to urgently look into the impersonation and forgery case involving the former impeached Plateau State Speaker Rt. Hon. Ayuba Nuhu Abok.

and made available to News Parrot called on the members to look into the case of impersonation where the former Speaker forged and used the letterhead of the Office of the Honourable Speaker to transmit his letter of withdrawal from the APC to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party addressed to his Jos East Ward Chairman.
This according to the Chairman, constitutes a serious infraction and
gross impunity which the former Speaker is noted for.
Hon. Bature also commended the Members of the Plateau State House of Assembly for their swift declaration of the seat of the former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Nuhu Abok Ayuba who decamped to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party last week vacant.
The Chairman of the party in the state, Honourable Rufus Bature said the Plateau State House of Assembly under the able leadership of the Rt. Honourable Yakubu Sanda, has lived up to its constitutional responsiblity as contained in section 109(i)g of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and its reads as follows :

PLATEAU STATE APC COMMENDS PLHA FOR DECLARING FORMER SPEAKER'S SEAT VACANT.
The Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has commended Members of the Plateau State House of Assembly for their swift declaration of the seat of the former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Nuhu Abok Ayuba who decamped to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party last week vacant.
The Chairman of the party in the state, Honourable Rufus Bature said the Plateau State House of Assembly under the able leadership of the Rt. Honourable Yakubu Sanda, has lived up to its constitutional responsiblity as contained in section 109(i)g of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
With this declaration by the House, the Chairman enjoins the Honourable Speaker, to without delay, transmit the House's declaration to the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) to enable it prepare for the conduct of bye election into the vacant seat so that the people of Jos East would have an effective representation in the Plateau State House of Assembly.
The APC Chairman, however, urges the House to look into the case of impersonation where the former Speaker forged and used the letterhead of the Office of the Honourable Speaker to transmit his letter of withdrawal from the APC to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party addressed to his Jos East Ward Chairman.
This according to the Chairman, constitutes a serious infraction and
gross impunity which the former Speaker is noted for.
It is not in doubt that Hon. Nuhu Abok Ayuba ceased th be the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly following his impeachment in October, 2021 and the unanimous election of Rt. Honourable Yakubu Sanda as the Honourable Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly.
Therefore, for him to six months after, still using the paraphernalia of the office is totally unacceptable.
