If Plateau State leverage on tourism endowment, it has no business waiting for what comes from Abuja-Prof. Dakas 

Hon. Professor Dakas Clement Dakas, one of the strong Governorship aspirant under the  platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC on the Plateau, has disclosed that If Plateau State can leverage on tourism endowment, it has no business waiting for what comes from Abuja 

Prof. Dakas made the disclosure in an interview with media men at Lankan the headquarters of Mupun Nation where the Vwang day celebration 2022 took place. 

Prof. Dakas described the event as wonderful opportunity for the Mupun Nation to showcase its rich cultural heritage and to also an opportunity to create a platform for networking. 

He said, people can see the Plateau State has pride itself as the Home of Peace and Tourism, and one of the things Plateau people need to do is to leverage this wonderful opportunity and cultural showcase in other to enhance enternal revenue generation. 

Because if Plateau leverage on the tourism endowment very well, then the state will not have to depend of what comes from the federation account. 

He said, this is ended a unique opportunity and also pray that let Plateau people to use this opportunity in other to advance not only the state revenue base, but also should be an opportunity for unity, to showcase their cultural heritage and to make sure that they provide grand opportunity for networking. 

He said, by so doing and from what one can see happen at the event, virtually every nationality has been represented and that is the mystery about Plateau.

Plateau is a home to all, he call on every Plateau sons and daughters to make sure that they leverage on that opportunity irrespective of religion, ethnicity so that together one united can move ahead.
