JMDB pulled down illegal structures in Jos 
The officials of the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB) accompanied by security personnel pulled down a proposed electrical Maintenance and Technical Company sited at the fence of the University of Jos, Permanent Site who made structures along Bauchi road.

 The team also pulled down part of a building at the Full Assurance International Academy along Lamingo road for Land Encroachment.

JMDB also removed shops and make shift structures at the Old Airport road.Other structures demolished are those around West of Mines. 

Speaking after the exercise, the Acting General Manager of  Jos Metropolitan Development Board Kefas Yilrrwang  said that they pulled down structures were not properly sited and explained that the board will not allow illegal structures to deface the state capital.

The active and  no nonsense Town Planner added that the State Capital will be allowed to enjoy its beautiful scenery and well planned city. 

The Acting General Manager warned citizens against illegal erection of structures stressing that approval must be sought from the board before any constructions will be embarked upon or else demolition awaits law breakers.
