Breaking: Jos South LGC Supervisory Councillors calls for the immediate sack of Hon. Choji as Chairman

The Jos South Local Government Council Management Committee Members has called for the immediate sacked of the Management Committee Chairman, Hon. Dachung Choji Yohana over his abysmal performance since his assumption into officer  

In a letter of complaint dated 24th July, 2020 petitioned to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong made available to News Parrot and was jointly signed by all the members of the Supervisory Councillor of the Local Government states that, we write as members of the management committee (Supervisory Councilors) of Jos South Local Government Council.

Our complaint is for and on behalf of all our teaming supporters and indigenes of Jos South Local Government Council bringing to bare the unpopular and inefficient performance of the Management Committee Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council, in the person of Hon Yohanna Dachung Choji.

Sir, it will interest you to note the following viz:

a. Since our appointment on the 15th of October 2019 up till date, no official visit has been made either in individual capacity or as a team for introduction and familiarisation to the 20 wards of Jos south local government Council.

b. The Chairman has total disregard toofficial and political issues which led to unnecessary delays in the implementation and execution of official programmes.

c.The Chairman has so far been an absentee Management Committee Chairman, not only to the teaming supporters of the party, but even to the Management

Committee team.

d. In the council, the Chairman has given more attention to only the Director of Personnel Management (DPM) and the Director of Finance and Supply (DFS) of the council in decision making resulting to a total boycott of all other committee members. He behaves as if he is a sole administrator and not a Management Committee Chairman, for which he has other members to consult with.

e. The Chairman has also been operating in secret and is not transparent in financial dealings of the council.

f. He has no regards for the party structure from the LGA down to the Wards and there has never been any party meeting with him since our assumption of office, thereby totally weakening the party's popularity in the LGA.

Sir, wehereby implore your good office to kindly call the Management Committee Chairman to order as for if left unchecked, the over all teaming supporters of our great party and the entire indigenes of Jos South Local Government will be at the

receiving end.

All efforts to get in touch with the Management Committee Chairman to get his reaction over the allegations prove abortive as he neither pick his calls or respond to text messages made to him for clarification as at the time of filing this report.
