Plateau south bye-election, how some party officials swindle Governor Lalong 20m 

Reports reaching our news desk, that Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State was swindled the sum of N20 million naira by some party officials in a quest for his anointed candidate to be adopted. 

source reveals to News Parrot that, Governor Lalong gave 20m to some party officials from Qua'an-pan Local Government Areas of the State to call for a stakeholders meeting, to direct all the party officials and stakeholders from the LGA to collectively adopt his preferred candidate. 

Addressing the ward and Local Government party Excos, in a meeting which held at Qua'an-pan Local Government Council secretariat chamber, one of the party official stated that, Governor Simon Lalong directed them to inform all the party officials from ward down to the local government level to vote his preferred candidate in the forthcoming Plateau South APC primary slated for October, 3, 2020. 

The source further disclosed to News Parrot that, the party officials who collected the 20m in the name of honorarium to all the party officials absconded with the said account without giving anybody a dim after the meeting. 

The action which is raising a serious uproar  in the camp of the  Governors, as many of the party officials were seeing complaining and saying if something is not done urgently they will be left with no other option than to go with another aspirant since all the other four are also APC members.
