President Buhari set to overhaul the nation’s security Chiefs- NSA

The National Security Adviser (NSA) Babagana Monguno on Tuesday, August 4, disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari's is considering overhauling the the nation's security Chiefs. 

Speaking to Journalist in State House Gen. Monguno reveals that concerning rampant insecurity in the country, after a high-profile meeting with President Buhari stated that the Nigerian leader has resolved to embark on an over-hauling of the nation's security apparatus,

The efforts of service chiefs to end violent crimes in Nigeria has been rated as not being good enough 

The rating was given by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, August 4 - National Security Adviser (NSA) Babagana Monguno said that the president has, therefore, decided to rejig the country's security system 

According to the NSA, the president said that the efforts of the service chiefs are not matching up to expectations, adding that he is all-out to restore the lost confidence of Nigerians in the security sector.

Monguno went on to say that the minister of defence, Bashir Magashi, is already on the issue and will give new directives from the presidency to all security agencies in no time.
