Plateau APC sympathise with PDP over possible non participation in 2023 General Election

Few days to the conduct of February, 25th, 2023 General Election, the Plateau State ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) have sympathise with the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) over fear-gripped the Party in Plateau State alleging that the APC is spreading the news that the PDP in the state would not be on the ballot for the general elections.

The APC in a statement made available to this medium and was signed by Hon. Sylvanus Namang,  APC State Publicity Secretary stated that the  attention of the All Progressives Congress Plateau State Chapter has been drawn to a bizarre and weird press conference by the fear-gripped  Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau State alleging that our party is spreading the news that the PDP in the state would not be on the ballot for the general elections.

Namang also disclosed that "while we sympathise with the  PDP which is fully aware of its imminent defeat at the polls due to its unending self immolation, its outcry can best be described as the  ranting of an ant.
It is instructive that the PDP which has inflicted incalculable damages on itself through multiple court cases, is  not sure of its being on the ballot few days to the general elections".

He said, in the strange and self destructive press conference,  the party gave lengthy narration of how it fought itself to the point  of being excluded from the 2021 local goverment elections and concluded that it has no pending cases in court.
It is like the case of a pupil who fails an examination but chooses  to blame the teacher for refusing to pass him.
How can the PDP which knows how its fate has been hanging in the balance blame the APC for its unending woes?

While calling on its tiny band of supporters to ignore the unfounded and unsubstantiated lies making the rounds in the social media about its exclusion on the ballot,  the totally confused and sunk  Chris Hassan- led PDP unwittingly admitted that the news emanated from one of its members who the party describes as a mole in its midst and  who has since been expelled from the PDP from his ward!
With this, if not a party which is petrified by its defeat in the  elections, why should it lay its blame on the doors of the  APC which has no hands in its self destruction?
The PDP in the state, fully aware that  it cannot make any headway in the elections, has decided to engage  in blaming in advance the APC which is unstoppable in its march  to Aso Villa on 25th February and Little Rayfield on 11th March respectively.
Known for its  shameless and unprovoked attacks on Govenor Simon Lalong at every given  opportunity,  the party has decided to turn  the empty barrel to the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives,  Rt. Honourable Ahmed Idris Wase whom  it alleges   is planning to recruit and import vigilantes from an unnamed neighbouring state to harass and intimidate voters in Wase during this week's election and calls on the police Commissioner to place him on its watch list.
This is simply  preposterous and laughable as the humble, peaceable and well respected Deputy Speaker does not need to embark on what the PDP is alleging  because his election is not under any threat as there is no trace of any opposition in his  Wase Federal Constituency.
The APC hereby calls on the PDP in the state to be prepared for a resounding defeat in the Saturday and subsequent elections rather than its misplaced blame game.
We call on the electorate to exercise their franchise by voting wisely and not to bring back dishonest, desperate and rejected politicians who did not use our boom period for the good of the citizenry.
