Plateau Publishers Association BOT Chairman joins Guber Race. 

The Chairman Board of Trustees of the famous Plateau Publishers Association and the managing editor City watch magazine, Chief Amos Yaduksu Gizo has joined the Plateau State Gubernatorial race come 2023. 

Gizo who is aspiring under the platform of ruling All Progressive Congress,APC,  said he intend to restore the lost glory of Plateau if he emerge Governor in 2023 elections.

He said his aspiration is premised on a 3Rs pillar that will usher in a new dawn of hope for the People of Plateau State which are Redefine, Reconstruct and Restore the lost glory of Plateau State. 

The aspirant who declared  his intention on Monday in Jos said, " You will agree with me that the dream, the inspiration, the vision and mission of our founding fathers have been eroded by a lot of factors that have grossly destroyed our collective heritage. 

"We no longer trust one another, the dividend of democracy which our people toil to harvest are scarcely there and hope is lost not because of any particular leader but System failure which can only by corrected with great sacrifice from both the leadership and the citizenry."

He noted that, "the primordial causes of our divide line must be put aside as peace is needed in the reconstruction of Plateau State. Once that is done, businesses and other infrastructural developments will take place. 

"Our Government will concentrate on securing the citizens and developing tourism, laying sound Healthcare delivery system, mechanized agricultural system, rural development, access road networks, water supply and electricity."

Chief Gizo also assured that, "our administration will pursue projects that will have direct impact in the lives of the citizenry and we will fight corruption to a standstill as it nas deeply eaten into the fabrics of our system. 

"We will build a strong revenue pase from our internally generated revenue and shall drive Plateau into the digital age, this we solemnly pledge.

"There will be zero tolerance, to god fatherism and government of family and friend. There will be equitable distribution of appointments and infrastructures cutting across the 3 senatorial zone. There will be fair representation at all facets," he stated.
