I have 65 percent chances of becoming Plateau governor following my antecedents and experience- Dr. Dakum

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the famous Institute of Human Virology Nigeria IHVN and a front line Gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC on the Plateau come 2023, Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum has rated his chances of becoming Plateau State Governor at 65 percent.

Dr. Dakum made the assertion while responding to questions from journalists during the official commission of his compaign office along Bukuru road opposite Nasco foods limited.

Dr Dakum said without mincing words, that with the researches carried carried out by our campaign team, conspicuously indicated that I am having more than 65 percent of chances in becoming the governor of plateau , following my anticidence of experience, previous experience in governance and above all , human empowerment.

Furthermore, he reveals that

although Governor Lalong has put in place many developmental projects , many finished and some are currently ongoing,if I am ask to choose one project to work on that is fundamental to the state when elected ,l single out security because it’s the bed rock of any development.

The medical personal turn politician said, he strongly debuked the rumors going around that governor Bako Lalong have anointed any candidate that will succeed him as the Governor of the state in 2023.

He said those parading themselves, and insinuating that they are the choice of the Governor Bako Lalong, are just being mischievous with the bids to constitute themselves as illegal Governor as all the Governorship aspirants received blessings of clean slate to go ahead and contest from the Governor, which doesn’t translate to mean the governor candidate ,as he Lalong can’t put more than one candidate in the seat, for that reason, if any candidate is claiming to be the governor’s candidate,is an illegal government.

Dr Patrick Dakum who reel out his achievement starting from when he was the commissioner of information, Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), and his current position as medical boss in Abuja, said his anticident can clearly speak for him as an achiever with plethora of achievement to put to the table for public assessment.

He said the people of Plateau State, without mincing word are hard working people, go to Abuja, in most of the construction sites , Plateau man or woman are there working to earn a living.

To me, the Plateau man and woman are not lazy, what they just need is little push that can propel them to another level.

Dakum promised that the Government under his watch ,he will offer that help, that push to the Plateau citizens to be able and feed for him/her self to become self dependent.

On the insinuation that he is using the former Governor josuha Dariye’s political structure ,the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Human Virology  Abuja, Dakum logically said every government in one way or the other is benefactor of  another government , which can not entirely be discarded.

He said some governors benefited from the formidable political structure laid by the first governor of the state, Chief Solomon Dashep Lar in one way or the other to advance their political course.

So ,it happened to every politians irrespective of the political background you are coming from,so insinuating that I am using the former governor’s political structure to advance my present political course, you may not be far from the truth because Governorship position is not an individual projects but Plateau projects.
