A mild drama has Thursday, played out on the floor of the Plateau State House of Assemby, during plenary when members were contributing to a debate on a bill to requlate land use and aquisiition in the State.

The drama unfold when Hon. Timothy Dantong, stood to make his input, but was observed by House Majority leader Naa'anlong Daniel.

The House under the Speakership of Sanda, has on 2nd November, 2021, slammed indefinite suspension on; former Speaker Abok Nuhu Ayuba, Hon Nuhu Abok Ayuba,
Hon Henry Longs(now late), Hon Dangtong Timothy, Hon Musa Agah, Hon Bala Fwanje and Hon Nambol Listic, over an alleged holding of plenary at an event center on 1st November, 2021.

According to the majority leader, Hon. Dantong lacked the capacity to participate in the debate having been on suspension in the House.

"Point of order Mr. Speaker, we have in this chamber some members that are on suspension and he is one of them and therefore cannot make any contribution," Daniel said.

Hon. Dantong still standing firmly holding the microphone, asked Speaker Yakubu Sanda, "if "I am covered."

But Speaker Sanda, replied back saying, "you can seat down, you are not covered."

Hon. Dantong sat back on his seat watching his other colleagues contributing to issues of interest to the State, so he kept watching and latter quitely oozed out of the chamber.
