British American interchange flyover, Plateau State government set to compensate, land and properties owner as work set to Kickstart.
In line with the philosophy of the Rescue Administration ably led by the Rt. Hon. (Dr) Simon Bako Lalong, KSGG, Executive Governor of Plateau State & Chairman, Northern Governors Forum, we bring to the notice of the general public that activities to execute the design and construction of the British America Junction Interchange (flyover) and dualization to  Lamingo junction roundabout has commenced.

A statement made available to Newsparrot and was signed by Pam Bot-Mang
Honourable Commissioner,
Ministry of Works, Plateau State stated that Compensation Committee to identify and recommend for compensation, land and properties that may be affected in the execution of this laudable project has been set up, inaugurated and has since swung into action.

The Design part of the project has been completed and surveys such as geophysical surveys, soil testing, load test, etc are currently being undertaken to enable the Contractor, Messrs Craneburg Construction Co Ltd who also has begun massive site mobilization, all in preparation for the construction part of the project.

In view of this positive development, residents, motorists and the general public may have recently noticed some activities by persons or group of persons around the designated areas carrying out various assignments. These activities would increase as the construction work commences in earnest, and as such may cause some inconveniences and disruptions in traffic flow and the daily activities of individuals and businesses around the area due to the road diversions and blockages at some point during construction.

We have however, identified alternative routes around the construction site to ease traffic flow. Also, regular construction and traffic updates/advisories will be issued via various communication channels and platforms to guide residents, road users and the general public.

It is in this light therefore, that all residents and road users are urged to exercise patience, understanding and please bear with us. The difficulties to be encountered will be short lived but the benefit to all will last a life time.

The Rescue Administration calls on all the good and peace-loving people of Plateau State to cooperate with us to achieve this noble project.

We appreciate your anticipated support as always.
