Rt. Hon. Abok flag off multi million educational empowerment scheme, commissioned clinics in Jos East


The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Abok N. Ayuba, has embarked on a massive educational intervention and empowerment scheme to his Constituents.


The presentation took place today at MDGs Multi-purpose Hall in Angware, the Jos East Local Government Secretariat. In his articulated speech, Mr. Speaker carefully listed his achievements in office so far which included:


1. N300,000.00 counterpart fund for the construction of PHC Clinic in Kuriming Village.

2. N700,000.00 for extension of electrification in Kerker Village.

3. N6,500,000.00 for renovation of 4 classrooms block in Fadan Fobur LEA Primary school and 2 classrooms block in Maigemu LEA Primary school.


4. N2,000,000.00 worth of 8 Bajaj mortocycles distributed to constituents.

5. 30 wheelchairs distributed to physically challenged persons within the Constituency.

6. N450,000.00 worth of scholarship awarded to first class graduates within Jos East and the Izere extraction from public schools.


7. Lobbied for the construction of 2 classrooms block in Febas LEA Primary school.

8. N1,200,000.00 for repairs of dilapidated boreholes.

9. N5,000,000.00 for rebuilding/remodeling of PHC Clinic in Kwangah Dutse of Fursum district.


10. N17,000,000.00 for the construction of a befitting PHC Clinic in Riseh village of Federe district.

11. N5,000,000.00 worth of scholarship disbursed to 250 students within the Izere nation.


12. N13,000,000.00 for payment of 2021 WASSCE registration fees for prospective candidates from Government Secondary Schools within Jos East and the Izere extraction.


13. N5,000,000.00 worth of 16 water pumps with accessories to irrigation farmers and 20 grinding machines .
