By our correspondent

There seems to a serious crack amongst members alleged to be decamping to the People's Democratic Party from the All Progressives Congress in Plateau , as reported in some cross section of online and print media organisations  on Thursday .

It could be recalled that a media report  had reported  that a former chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Chief Letep Dabang and a  few number of other aggrieved members of the ruling party in the state have resigned their membership of the party to join the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The report had  said that a  group of aggrieved APC members took the decision to move en masse to the PDP at the end of a meeting held in Barkin-Ladi on Wednesday under the aegis of what they called “THE GREAT MOVEMENT.”

"We do not have any plans to decamp ,we are with APC and did not nursed any plan of decamping ,"those who spoke with our correspondent  emphatically stressed .

Investigation by this online media had  it  that most of those names mentioned in the report alleged to be decamping to the PDP have criticized and denied  the report stressing that the still  remain members of the APC and they never had intention of decamping to the PDP .

Most of them who spoke to our correspondent accused the former chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State,  Letep Dabang of playing a script after he has failed .

They accused Latep of creating what does not exist .

One of them accused Letep of trying to use them to make funds from the National Party of the PDP .

In his words " We would reject the moves by Letep who is known for his self-centred nature to use them to make funds .
We can not be used by Letep who  has failed ,we would not move with him to a party that does not have any plans of improving the welfare of our people .

Some of them denied  the statement  issued on Thursday in Jos and signed by Engr. Manji Danladi,  saying that they never made any agreement at any  meeting  to decamp to PDP .
They said the remain members of the APC and would stand by Governor Simon Lalong and the leadership of the APC in the state .

it could be recalled that  the report had mentioned  Hon. Peter Azi, former speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly (PLHA), Hon. Joshua Madaki, former speaker  Plateau State House of Assembly (PLHA) and others as those who have indicated that they would decamp to PDP  which this online report has investigated and discovered that  the report is false and malicious .
