HON PRINCE AKIMS MAMOT JAMES HOSTED PLATEAU STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, DONATED SECURITY GADGETS AND ATTENDED OTHER ACTIVITIES IN BOKKOS LGA.


Plateau State commissioner of Police CP. B.Nnamdi Onyeaka honored the invitation of Hon. Prince Akims Mamot James after Friday visit which was embarked by the captain of A GANI A KASA MOVEMENT on insecurity in Bokkos, the need to interact with stakeholders and also reinforce Bot Police outpost.


On the visit while at Bokkos, Akims along with the chairman of Bokkkos LGA Hon. Joseph Guluwa who was ably represented by the Council Secretary Hon. Pastor Alheri Sagai received the CP with other stakeholders of Bokkos. It was more of interactive session which gave birth to several discussions and majors were outlined in dealing with the incessant kidnappings and other criminal activities.


During the meeting, the commissioner of police showed resilience, commitments and concern as well as determination to handle the issues affecting the peace coexistence in Bokkos.


The captain of A GANI A KASA Prince Akims led the delegation along with Hon. Pastor Sagai to Bot where the police outpost was inspected and the CP noted measures to ensure the outpost is fully put into function.


In line with the Slogan A GANI A KASA, and quest for absolute peace in Bokkos LGA, Hon Prince Akims Mamot James distributes a 5 kilometer radius Walkie Talkie to all the security agencies in Bokkos LGA.

The presentation which was made at The Nigeria Police Divisional Headquarter, Bokkos by the commissioner of police is to serve the purpose of insecurity in Bokkos metropolis.

According to Prince Akims who is the donor, he said social and economic development only comes when there is a peaceful atmosphere, adding that, he will put in his best to make sure insecurity is gone forever within Mangu and Bokkos Federal Constituency. He said the walkie talkies are to be given to the Police, Sector 5 STF and Civil Defense. Others are Neighbor Hood Watch, Vigelante group of Nigeria and Bokkos Progressive Youth Association, all for the benefit of good and quality communications in case of emergencies.

Responding after the presentation, Plateau State commissioner of police, on behalf of Bokkos division and community leaders appreciated the philanthropic gesture of Hon Prince Akims, and prayed for more of his type so that security will be boosted in our localities.

Prince later attended COCIN WOMEN FELLOWSHIP program of RCC Bokkos which took place at FAT MAKADA, and enjoined them to walk together in Unity, for the benefit of the church and themselves, he added by soliciting for prayers and support in his aspirations. In response, CWF leader of COCIN RCC Bokkos applauded him for coming to fellowship with them. Prince supported the event with a token.


Akims further went to Late Rev Micheal residence at Tudu to commiserate with the family over the irreparable lost of the father to one among his media aides Micheal Domshak.

Highlights of the day were: a tour to Bot Police Outpost, exchanging pleasantries with religious leaders of COCIN RCC Bokkos and condolences in Bot and Bokkos township.
