The leader of the DVD Movement and governorship hopeful in Plateau State, Nde David Victor Dimka fsi has promised to continue from where Governor Simon Bako Lalong will stop come 2023.

While speaking during the Annual Cultural Festival of the Goemai people (Bit -Gamai 2021) held in Shendam on Friday, December 31, 2021, the former Comptroller of Customs described Goemai land as an extension of Ngas land given the socio cultural relationship that exists between the two ethnic groups in Plateau State.

"The governor has done very well, and as an inlaw to the governor and the Goemai people, I will continue from wherever he will stop", he said.

He commended the people of goemai land for their peaceful coexistence with other ethnic groups in the State especially the Ngas speaking people who have found Shendam and other surrounding LGAs as their second home.
