PPA lauds release of abducted students

Plateau Publishers Association (PPA), lauded the release of the remaining abducted students of Science Secondary School Kankara, in Katsina state from the grip of bandits that abducted them, saying Nigeria has shed so much tears on the abduction of secondary schools girls in Chibok and Dapchi in Borno and Yobe states in the year 2014 and 2018 respectively by the Boko Haram Terrorists.
PPA Chairman, Shabul Mazadu said the recent abduction of the boys of Science Secondary School Kankara, in Katsina State was additional salt to injury.
Mazadu lauded President Muhammadu Buhari, Katsina State Governor, Bello Masari, and all the security agencies involved in the rescue of the abducted students, saying they have done remarkably well by stemming another spade of torrential of tears.
He called on all Nigerians to be proactive in vigilance towards their security and one another's knowing that our individual security hinges on one another's safety. And that to make Nigeria safe, requires synergy between the government and the governed.
Mazadu warns against politicization of insecurity which he said is a monster once properly fed cannot be tamed by political parties and anyone, but rather transformed the country into a Banana Republic to no man's good.
He added that good governance by the incumbent and good opposition by the opposition are panacea for insecurity, as such; all political actors should put their acts aright and put Nigeria first before their ambition he posited.
