Breaking : Dr. Dakum set to organize Peace Football Tournament to garner support for APC Bassa/ Jos North candidate, donate handsomely

The 2023 Gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of All Progressive Congress and the leader of Consolidation for Greater Plateau 2023 Team who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Human Virology Abuja-Nigeria, Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum, has stated that all plans has been concluded to organize a Peace Football Tournament to garner support for APC Bassa/ Jos North candidate in the forthcoming Saturday  February 26, 2022 bye elections.

Dr. Dakum who also donated handsomely in support of the Jos North/Bassa House of Representatives Bye-election slated for 26th February 2022 by the Independent National Electoral Commission at the Fund-raising dinner organised by the APC supporters of Hon Joseph Abbey Aku at the Lamonde Hotel, Naraguta Avenue, Jos.

Dr Patrick Sunday Dakum was ably represented by Hon Jonathan Gukut, Director of Logistics Company in Abuja, also donated One Hundred Thousand Naira(N100,000.00) said Dakum has concluded arrangements for a Dakum Peace Football Tournament to garner support for the APC candidate, Hon Joseph Abbey Aku in Jos North and Bassa LGAs.

Hon.Jonathan Gukut who also doubles as the Personal Assistant to Dr Dakum was accompanied by Hon Phillip Tupkop and Chief Amb Nanyah Daman to the fund raising dinner.

In an interview with Jonathan Gukut after the event, he said Dr Patrick Dakum has directed all his campaign structure in Bassa, Jos North and Pankshin LGAs to leave whatever they are doing so that they can go from do to door to convince voters to come out en masse to vote for the APC candidates on Saturday 26th February, 2022 in the bye-elections.

Rt Hon Babayo Adamu Yusuf Gadi, the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives condemned political office holders, those seeking elections under the APC and those elected under the APC not honouring invitations for APC engagements to strengthen the party, though only one Gubernatorial Aspirant in the person of Dr Patrick Dakum was represented at the event.

Gagdi hinted that this nonchalant attitude will definitely help to stifle the party if not checked on time.Gagdi thanked God that at least the voters are keenly watching the kind of selfish attitude they are exhibiting.
He donated Twenty Million Naira (N20m) for Jos North and Bassa LGAs for the execution of the APC candidacy and Twenty Million Naira (N20m) for the Pankshin South House of Assembly Constituency to ensure victory of the APC.

Gagdi pleaded with the electorates of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency as well as the Pankshin South State Constituency to come out en masse on Saturday 26th February, 2022 to vote for Hon Abbey Aku and Ezra Dakup, both of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for their respective positions.

Gagdi, the House Committee Chairman on Navy at the Federal House of Representatives promised to personally embark on campaign tour of all the five electoral wards in Pankshin South Constituency on Thursday, 24th February, 2022 after which he will round off the tour with the presentation of six cars and 20 motorcycles to some party faithfuls from Pankshin and Kanke LGAs, just like he did in Kanam LGA some weeks ago.

Gagdi charged his fellow party members who are holding various positions, courtesy of the party, to cultivate the attitude of sharing the gains of their offices with the electorates, as it is only in doing so would they lure people to support the APC, especially now that times are hard.

Gagdi stressed that, Governor Bako Lalong alone can’t be everywhere at the same time to assist every body, that is why he appointed people from every part of the state into different positions; and the least such appointees can do is to share part of their earnings with the people around them, especially those in need. That is another way of making people feel the impact of the government.
