Worshipers storms Jos South LG Secretariat as Hon. Danderen inaugurate Solemn Assembly prayer Thanksgiving

The Jos South Local Government Council Secretariat of Plateau State went agog as the Council Chairman Hon Dr Amb Gideon Dandereng, inaugurated the first ever Solemn Assembly prayer and Thanksgiving service on Friday 11th February, 2022. 

In his word, the Executive Chairman Hon. Gideon Davou Dandaren reiterates that Jesus Christ most be worship in Africa and Nigeria. 

Hon Danderen stated that there most be a budgetary provision for the religious body in his local government and he called on the entire Chairmen of the 17 local government to emulate that. 

He called on the political leader wherever they found themselves to always use the office they found themselves to protect the land. 

Furthermore, reminded the people to know that if they most succeed in life they most understand the time and season. 

Hon Dr Amb Gideon Dandereng, debunked the allegations of diverting Constituency Equipment belonging to Hon Bagos,representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency making the rounds in the media. 

The Council Chairman said it is only an ignorant representative that would want to perform the function of the Local Government Council Chairman instead of legislative duties, which is law making and not the distribution of hospital equipment to Primary Health Care Clinics. 

Dandereng called on all the other 16 LGC  Chairmen to ensure Chapels are built and opened in their respective areas for the praise and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. 

For the purpose of uniformity, the Council boss promised to appoint the Senior Special Assistant on Religious Affairs for the Muslims. He frowned at the politicisation of the Chapel Inaugural Thanksgiving Service by the refusal of the Senator representing Plateau North, the House of Representatives member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, the House of Assembly member representing Jos South State Constituency, and Jos South Stakeholders and Elders to attend a praise and worship Assembly.

The Executive Chairman of Jos South LGC said arrangements had been concluded for the distribution of the PHC equipment and no N50m equipment was looted.

He said, he expect to see the member representing Jos South State Constituency, he said he expect to see the member representing Jos South and Jos East Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and also said he expected to see the Senator representating Plateau North because the people are in the Solemn Assembly to Worship God. 

The Chairman also revealed that the chapel will continue to partner with every religion in other for peace to take place in Jos South Local Government Council. 

His Excellency Rt Hon Barr Dr Simon Bako Lalong KSGG was the Special Guest of Honour, Hon Amb Gideon Dandereng was the Chief Host,HRH Da Nga Dangyang, Hon Ayuba Jagaba,Rev Chu Gyang Chu,Apostle Amb Chuwang Davou is the Chaplain, Rev Success D.Nyako is Deputy Chaplain, Rev J C Vwashi is the Senior Special Assistant on Religious Matters, former House of Assembly Members,Directors of the LGC,Chairmen,Councillors,Party Chairmen and Members,Stakeholders, Elders and lovers of Christ were in attendance to worship and praise the Lord.
