Dr Jophia Nanker Gupar, the State Coordinator, Women4Women/He4She Community and also the Founder/President, Pan African Young Women Development Initiative-PAYWODI

is so happy with the new development in the PYC and has gladly congratulated the newly inaugurated officials of the Plateau Youth Council (PYC). The inauguration was done Thursday 9th September 2021 at the Azi Nyako Youth Centre Dadin Kowa Jos.

Dr Jophia Nanker Gupar said the successful conduct of the election and inauguration of the elected officials has given brighter future for theYoung people on the Plateau. This will also strengthen youth participation in leadership and selfless service and commitment to their immediate communities.

Dr Jophia also advised the new PYC EXCO to ensure that the Youths okay a vital role in maintaining peace and unity in the State as they are the Leaders of today,Tomorrow and the future.

As a member of the National Advisory Board of the National Youth Council of Nigeria-NYCN, Dr Jophia believes that the new Leader of PYC will add lots in bringing back the lost value of the Council. She also the State Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development and His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State for supporting the cause of Youth participation aand Development in the state.

On a final note, Dr Jophia also advised the Youths to be very mindful of 2023 as their decisions aan participation means a lot to the Development of the state and Nations at large.
