Dr.Elkanah supporters storms Bokkos town in solidarity

Supporters and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) gathered in their hundreds stormed Bokkos town to identify with their leader Dr Elkanah Garang, an aspirant of the recently conducted APC House of Representatives primary elections which took place in Mangu Local Government Council of Plateau State.

The supporters which gathered at the Teachers House Bokkos LGA to rally around and unanimously pledge support to Dr Elkanah Garang.

This medium gathered that members were aggrieved with the party and one of those at the gathering said the party has not been fair to the Local Government. He added that the APC has not given a ticket to Bokkos since it’s inception and Dariye got a ticket from the PDP before his defection to the ruling party and this will narrow the party’s chances in the general election.

Dr Elkanah on his part called for calm among party faithfuls and supporters pending the decision of the APC and the Executive Governor who is the leader of the party in the state. He pleaded for patience as events unfold heading into the 2023 General Elections and thanked the people for their show of love and the confidence they have in him.
