APC VP slot - cross sections of Yourba's in Plateau endorses Gov Lalong

Cross section of Yourbas residing in Plateau state on Monday  called on the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023  Presidential election Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to pick the Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong as his running mate in the forthcoming elections .

 Olajide Olagbemiro who addressed a press conference on behalf of some members  in Jos ,said Lalong possesses the leadership skills to take Nigeria to great heights and boost unity among the citizenry in the country.

Jide who is the owner of Avis Restaurant ,  said their resolve to support Governor Lalong for the Vice President  seat   is that Lalong is a man of peace and would help Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to move Nigeria forward.

They added that  Lalong has been a speaker of the state assembly and he performed excellently well .

In his words "Lalong who is a devoted Christian does not compromise loyalty ,

" Lalong 's loyalty to the APC is 100 percent.

In his words "We call on Bola Ahmed Tinubu to select Lalong who is the  Chairman of the Northern Governors forum because he  has done  well in uniting people of the North  as well as citizens of Plateau state as Governor of Plateau .

" Governor Lalong has been a youth moulder through his numerous empowerment programmes and sports development.”

They described Governor Simon Bako Lalong as a best match to deputize the APC Presidential Flag bearer Senator Ahmad Bola Tinubu, saying his humble personality, loyalty and practmatic leadership style is worthy of mention.

Jide further  added that Governor Simon Bako Lalong, has played and is still playing a significant role as the Chairman of Northern Governors forum, as he was able to bring about Peace and Unity within the region.

He is a man who has the interest of all Nigerians at heart ,he is humble  and God fearing .

" As a man who has promoted business in Plateau ,we would support him always ,he  has our support at all times ." 

Olajide Olagbemiro added that Lalong has the interest of citizens of the country at heart and he is a nationalist .

The business man  called on all APC leadership, stakeholders and the good people of Plateau within and outside the State to join hands to actualize the project.

"We are confident that Lalong has the interest of citizens of the country and his party the APC at heart ,he added .

Jide added that he and his members would go to the length and breadth of the state and the country to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ensure he gets elected as President of the country .
