Two days in house workshop organizes for JMDM staff.


The Management of the  Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB ) has organises a two day in House Workshop For Staff of the board from Friday 22nd, 2021-Saturday 23rd October, 2021 at the Bridge Hotel Opposite Hilcrest School, Jos.


The Special Guest of Honour Engr Sunday Hyat mni, Head of Service, Plateau State was represented by Barr Selfa Dashe, the Permanent Secretary, Establishment.


In his remarks, Dashe encouraged civil servants in the State to constantly engage in training and retraining that will influence maximum productivity and cohesion in the workplace in Plateau State.


The Permanent Secretary Establishment and Pension Office also urged workers to take advantage of the training to enrich their knowledge for maximum productivity.


The Chief Host TPL Kefas John Yilrwang, General Manager of the JMDB in his opening remarks described the training as key to the realisation of the JMDB mandate.


In his words, "the importance of training to civil servants cannot be over emphasized because civil servants cannot work without rules and regulations in the workplace as there are certain peculiarities which demands requisite training "


The General Manager of the JMDB also hinted that "Training enables the civil servants to improve their work, thus, the JMDB thought it wise to organise the in house training so that the staff can be trained in certain areas of their work and the civil service rules.


The Chairman of the Plateau State Civil Service Commission, Barr Luka Fwangyil represented by Acting Director of Administration, Civil Service Commission, Simi D.Chollom urged civil servants to take advantage of the training to increase their knowledge for a cohesive workforce in the State.

2)Highlights of Government Financial Regulations by Rwang I.Dalyop of Dantong D.R & Co.
3) Office Procedures and Methods by E.M.Gagara.
4) Stress Management and Workplace Productivity by Mr Kitchime Samuel Danladi
