CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE 

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Plateau State, Honourable Rufus Bature heartily congratulates the new Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Yakubu Sanda on his overwhelming election by his colleagues in the house.

Your election was received by the party as a welcome development as it came at a time when activties in the house were at their lowest ebb, 

The confidence your colleagues have reposed in you should spur you to act in the direction of working harmoniously with your colleagues to make laws that would enhance the growth of democracy and good governance in Plateau state. 

The chairman would like to advise members of the public, especially the  main opposition party in the state to desist from its interference by causing confusion and spreading of falsehood with regards to the recent change of leadership of the House of Assembly and allow it to operate seamlessly  in the interest of peace. 

 Honourable Rufus Bature hereby commends His Excellency, Governor Simon Bako Lalong for being the first governor in the federation  to implement  the autonomy granted to Houses of Assembly in the country hence his non interference in the running of its activities.
