PLATEAU APC LEADER, SENATOR LALONG WELCOMES REPS MEMBER HON. DALYOP CHOLLOM (SANCHOS) TO THE PARTY

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and leader of the APC in Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong has welcomed Member Representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency Hon. Dalyop Chollom (Sanchos) to the party, describing his decision as a well considered option for greater service to the people.

Dr. Makut Simon Macham Special Adviser (Media) to Senator Simon Bako Lalong, Plateau South Senatorial District in a statement made available to newsmen stated that Senator Lalong who witnessed the movement of the Member during the plenary session of the House of Representatives on Tuesday said the law maker is welcome to the APC which has room for politicians zeal to serve. 

He said the movement of the Representative from Labour Party to the APC is another testimony that APC on the Plateau remains strong and very connected to the people at the grassroots. 

Senator Lalong said the strength of the party was recently tested and proven during the last Local Government elections in Plateau State where the Party's performance was overwhelming, depsite the manipulation by the incumbent Government.

He charged the new APC Member to join hands with the party faithful particularly in his Constituency towards making sure that the party continues to record successes and serve the people. 

Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajjudeen Abbas while congratulating the lawmaker for making the right decision, said the movement to APC will make him perform to the satisfaction of his people and deliver the dividends of democracy. 

Speaker Abbas also praised Senator Lalong for his leadership and guidance of the APC in Plateau State which is attracting politicians and their supporters from other parties joining the party.
