YILLAH MOURNS JT USENI, ADVOCATES NAMING OF NATIONAL MONUMENT AFTER HIM
Chief Dennis Danladi Yillah has described the death of Late Gen. JT Useni as a collosal loss that hits devastatingly, with an excruciating sting that would take a long time to heal.
Describing Useni as the architect of modern Federal Capital Territory, Yillah advocates for the naming of an important national monument after JT Useni in the FCT, as a way of immortalizing his legacies and a mark of respect for the achievements he had recorded while serving as the FCT minister.
While sending out his condolences to the immediate family, the government and people of Plateau State and Nigerians in general over the loss, Yillah prayed for the repose of the soul of the late patriarch of the Useni dynasty. He charged the family to immortalize the fallen hero by sustaining his philanthropic legacies.
The Europe based business mogul charged the governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, to reflect on the legacies of the late General as a morale booster to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Plateau State who entrusted him with the mandate to govern the state.
He said situations like death of notable statesmen, should serve as wake up call to our political leaders and a constant reminder that the positions they hold in trust for the masses shall be accounted for in the hereafter, hence they should live up to the demands of their offices rather than pursuing personal aggrandizement.
He said Useni had left a memory that would always be relished by those around him, and such should be emulated in order to make the world a better place for all to live in.
