The Commissioner of the Plateau State House of Assembly Service Commission Hon. Moses Dinfa Fanap has described the newly appointed and sworn in Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap Mni as an exceptional leader with the quality to deliver on her area of new assignment as a member of the Plateau State Executive Council.
Hon. Fanap who spoke to journalist yesterday 4th February, 2025 shortly after the swearing in of his political godmother at her residence in Jos the Plateau State capital.
The Commissioner described her appointment as reflecting on Rt. Hon Ramnap’s achievements, he said, “We are full of joy but not surprised. She has been elevated from the rank of Commissioner 2 of the Local Government Service Commission to the executive council due to her exceptional track record, including her tenure as the first female House of Assembly member from Langtang South, where she served as Chief Whip and later as Deputy Speaker. Her leadership has been exemplary, and she will certainly deliver on the expectations set before her.”
Furthermore, Hon. Fanap also expressed his confidence in Ramnap’s ability to serve with clarity and direction, much like Governor Mutfwang, stating, “Just like our amiable governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, who speaks with direction and clarity, Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap shall deliver whenever the need arises without faltering.”
Also on his part, Mr. Butko Iliya Bako, the Director of Press to the Executive Chairman of Langtang South Local Government of Plateau and a prominent youth in the LGA, expressed the community's excitement, saying, “We are full of joy and thanksgiving to the Lord Almighty and to the executive governor of Plateau State for appointing one of us into the executive council. As members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), we are confident that she will deliver on the mandate given to her.”
Addressing her supporters, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Langtang South PDP family. She emphasized that she did not lobby for the appointment, but as a loyal supporter of the Caleb Mutfwang administration, she was ready to serve the government in any capacity. She urged the entire Tarok community to rally behind Governor Mutfwang, stressing that his love for the people of Langtang South is evident in the appointments he has made.
Ramnap also called for unity within the PDP ranks, inviting former Commissioner for Science and Technology, Prof. Obed Goselle, and his supporters to join forces with her in fulfilling the government’s mandate.
The event was well-attended by numerous well-wishers, friends, colleagues, and family members, all united in celebrating the new chapter in the career of Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap.
