FORMER PLATEAU STATE GOVERNOR FELICITATES WITH PAULINE TALLEN AT 66.
Former Plateau State Governor, Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye, has rejoiced with Honourable Dame Pauline Kedem Tallen, KSG, OFR, on the occasion of her 66th birthday anniversary.
In a statement, Senator Dariye described Pauline as an astute administrator and experienced politician whose unwavering commitment and dedication to the
advancement of Nigerians, especially women, was worthy of emulation.
He said the celebrant remained one of the most robust Nigerian politicians whose antecedents had impacted positively on the people and society.
According to the former Governor, Dame Pauline Tallen was a woman of integrity who had built strong political friendships and affiliations across the length and breadth of the country.
" She has stood strongly against domestic violence and other vices, especially as they affect women, by initiating several empowerment programmes to uplift the standard of living during her time as Minister of Women Affairs under the Buhari Administration", Senator Dariye observed.
Senator Dariye recalled the leading role Dame Pauline Tallen played in the 2015 General Elections while serving as the National Adviser of the National Women Campaign Council in mobilising women across the country to vote massively for the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC), which ushered in the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former Governor noted that as a former Commissioner, Deputy Governor, Minister and Chairman, Governing Council of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Dame Pauline Tallen had contributed immensely to the growth and development of Plateau State and Nigeria, a feat that earned her the conferment with the national honour of Officer of the Federal Republic(OFR) by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2005.
On behalf of his family, friends, and political associates, Senator Dariye wished her sound health and more wisdom for continuous service to God and humanity.
