SSA on Middle Belt Nationalities To Governor Mutfwang congratulates Alhassan




The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, of Plateau State on Middle Belt Ethnic Nationalities, Hon. Dan Kwada, has congratulated Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, on his election as the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

In a statement signed by Hon. Dan Kwada, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State capital from the Office of the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Middle Belt Ethnic Nationalities Thursday.


The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, of Plateau State on Middle Belt Ethnic Nationalities Hon. Dan Kwada stated that “on behalf of himself and his entire family, he extend his warmest congratulations to his friend and brother, Comrade Alhasan Yahaya, on his well-deserved victory as the National President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) at the just concluded triennial delegate conference in Owerri, Imo State.




Hon Kwada stated  that “Your triumph at the just concluded triennial delegate conference in Imo State, is a testament to your dedication, leadership skills and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of journalism in Nigeria.

“As a seasoned Journalist and veteran Unionist, you have consistently demonstrated your passion for the profession and your ability to inspire and mobilize your colleagues towards a common goal”, the statement stated


Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, the brand new National President, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)

According to the SSA, Hon. Kwada stated  that Alhassan’s election as the National President of the NUJ was  in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the union and the journalism profession as a whole. 

He expressed confidence that his leadership qualities and diamond hands would definitely bring about new era of growth, development and prosperity for NUJ and its members.

Kwada, prayed God to continue watching over him and give him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of this great Union saying, “we wish you a successful tenure and look forward to working with you to promote the interests of journalists in Nigeria.
