MISHKAHAM MWAGHAVUL CHARGES CITIZENS ON SECURITY CONSCIOUSNESS.

The Mishkaham Mwaghavul, Da John Putmang Hirse has charged citizens to be security conscious at all times.

For Kopal Community stated that Mishkaham Mwaghavul, Da John Putmang Hirse stated this when the a high powered delegation of Kopal people led by the Mishkaham Kopal, Da Yilman Pofi paid him a congratulatory visit at his Palace in Mangu on Tuesday. 

 Da J.P Hirse said that insecurity which is now everywhere and not only in Mwaghavuland behoves us all to always be on the alert. 

 According to him, the prevalent security challenges call for patience and understanding as the enemy would always provoke us into reacting which may not always be the solution. 

Da Putmang called  on the people to live in peace with their neighbours and those  living with us in our various communities. 

 He urged the people to be watchful and mindful of those they interact with.

  On employment, the Royal Father charged our youth to learn how to be self employed as goverment jobs are no longer available. 

 He said even those working in government are not finding it easy given the economic downturn. 

 According to him, we should go back to  farming which is the main preoccupation of our people. 

 He said we are blessed as a people as our soil is very fertile for the production of different varieties of crops. 

 He lamented the fact that our youth do not want ro engage in productive activities any longer  but want to make quick money.

 He cautioned them against bad company which make them go into vices which affect their health. 

 He thanked the Kopal people for coming to identify with him as one of them and appealed to them to do things that would uplift the dignity of the Mishkaham Mwaghavul stool and for the progress of the land.

  He charged them to remove self from all  they do and always have the fear of God.

 Earlier, the Mishkaham Kopal,  Da Yilman Pofi said the delegation which was made up of the Kopal Traditional Council, Kopal Development Association and Kopal Youth Movement was at the Mishkaham Mwaghavul Palace to specially felicitate with him on his well deserved selection as the Mishkaham Mwaghavul. 

 He said they are very proud of him as one of them given his Kopal ancestry.

 He said the new Mishkaham Mwaghavul  has distinguished himself from service which he rose to the position of a Federal Permanent Secretary before his ascendance to the exalted stool. 

 " As number one custodian of our tradition and culture, we believe you have to capacity to uphold and promote it based on your pedigree" Da Pofi maintained. 

 He assured him of his people's unflinching loyalty and support. 

 On insecurity in the land, he said unprovoked attacks, kidnapping and armed robbery should not be treated with kid gloves.

 He appealed to the Mishkaham Mwaghavul to develop lofty programmes to secure the land and its people. 

  He said our Community Secondary schools and the Mwaghavul College of Health Technology, Pushit should be given the desired attention to encourage our young ones to fortify themselves educationally. 

 Giving a Vote of Thankson behalf of the delegation,  Hon. Sylvanus Namang praised the Mishkaham Mwaghavul, Da John Putmang Hirse over his sterling performance while in service and for ensuring the upgrading the Mwaghavul Community Bank to a Microfinance Bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria under his chairmanship.
