There is no division in Plateau APC, party hopeful of victory- Namang


The State Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC in Plateau State, Hon. Sylvanus Namang has stated that there is no division in the party and APC is hopeful of victory.

Namang made the disclosure to news men in Jos, on Tuesday, shortly after attending a close door meeting of the party, which held at government house.

He reveals that the Stakeholders meeting of the All Progressive Congress APC in Plateau State have charged it members in the state to ensure that the party deliver all it's candidates during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

He said the stakeholders brainstormed on the strategies towards winning all the elective positions it candidates are contesting for.

Namang revealed that all party supporters were urged to deliver their respective polling units during the forthcoming polls without any form of malpractice.

On the issues of same Faith Presidential candidates which most citizens in the state are kicking against, the APC media person said it was a gimmick of the opposition political parties using religion to canvas for votes; he therefore charged christian members of the APC to ignore such calls of the opposition.

The APC publicity secretary explained that APC members in Plateau State are more united, and will vote massively for it candidates.

According to the APC spokesman, the meeting was attended by both elected, political appointees, serving and former.

The meeting last for about four hours, with almost all top APC members in attendance, which included the deputy Speaker House representatives, Idris Wase, deputy governor of Plateau Prof Sonni Tyoden, member house of representatives for Pankshin Kanke Kanam, Yusuf Gagdi, among others.
