Hill College of Nursing Sciences Jos, Records 100 % pass in maiden graduation, gets NBTE accreditation



The Students of Hill College of Nursing Sciences Jos, has gained 100 percent successes in its maiden graduation for the Nursing 2024 and Midwifery 2025 examinations.

The College also secured officoal accreditation for the award National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma(HND), in Nursing Science and Midwifery, by the National Board for Technical Education and the Nursing and Wifery Council of Nigeria.

The College proprietress Hajiya Nafisa Omar, in a press release said the remarkable achievements were made in Professional Examination for General Nurses and Basic Midwives which took place in November, 2024 and March, 2025 respectively.

"The college is pleased to notify the general public that each of the Nursing and midwifery sets of students got 100% success rate in the aforementioned National Professional Examination - Alhamdu Lillah.
According to Nafisa Omar, the outstanding feat of successes is a testament to the college's commitment to the skillful classroom and clinical instructions, academic excellence and dedication to producing competent and proficient healthcare professionals.

"The achievement is also a reflection of the hard work and perseverance of the students, faculty, and staff," she said. "We are thrilled and proud of this exceptional achievement."

She said the college community will not relent its efforts on pursuing their mission and vision of providing to the Nigerian societies the students/nurses with optimal health care training to make significant national and global contributions to innovative health delivery in order to promote and maintain Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Education and Practice in Nigeria commensurate to the international best practice.

Nafisa Omar said the success rate is a resounding endorsement of their efforts, at offering ND and HND Nursing, Post Basic Course as well as Public Health Nursing, and Basic Midwifery, designed to, equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to excel in their chosen profession.

She said called prospective nurse and midwife to enroll into the college to gain effective, efficient and attitudinal qualities of becoming professional nurse/midwife with a difference.
